Rochester and Jane Chapter 36

Altough Jane is has not worked for Rochester in over a year, and since then has aquired a large some of money, why does she still refer him "master"?

  1. After Jane's experience at Lowood Academy with Helen Burns, Jane has strived only to be good and to serve others. Thus, she still feels like she is to serve Mr. Rochester.
